How to get to and from Montfair if you're not staying on the property?
Answer
For wedding day: There will be buses from the hotel to the venue. Two different return times will be available for buses back to the hotel. Rideshare apps will take you TO the venue but not back to your hotel or lodging afterwards. Our venue is in Crozet, which is about 20 minutes outside of Charlottesville. You are more than welcome to take an Uber or Lyft on your way to the venue and take the bus on your way back! Guests also have the option to park at the venue. **Limited Uber service back from venue please plan accordingly

What is the food situation?
Answer
First, we’ll kick off with a cocktail hour featuring delicious hors d'oeuvres. Then, we’ll move into open seating with a buffet catered by Harvest Moon, offering a variety of veggie and vegan options. We encourage everyone to mingle, chat, and get to know other guests!

May I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask you keep your phone on silent and put away during the ceremony so we can allow our professional photographers to work their magic. Once the party starts, feel free to snap away!

Venue Fast Facts
Answer
The ceremony will take place on a hill, followed by a short walk down a gravel path to the cocktail hour. As the ceremony will be held on grass, we recommend choosing footwear accordingly—stilettos may sink! If you have any concerns about navigating the gravel path, please let Sean or Lucy know in advance.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, we’ve decided to keep our wedding weekend adults-only. With open bars and open water at Montfair, we feel it’s safest to celebrate without kids. We hope you understand and can join us for a fun and relaxing weekend!
