FAQs

Question

What do I need to bring or do prior to arrival?

Answer

Must RSVP by AUGUST 1st!!! Please answer the main questions AND optional questions on event 1 and 12 of the ‘RSVP’ tab. Have a karaoke song ready to go (required), swimsuits, food & booze and a good attitude! We would LOVE people to prepare a fun toasts after our anniversary hibachi dinner. It’s the one thing we missed at the wedding. (Initial toiletries are provided by the host as well as towels, bedding, etc. The kitchens are stocked with cooking supplies.) We need a couple people to bring plastic cups, plates, silverware to save on cleaning time and effort!!

Question

How big are the cabins?!

Answer

2 side-by-side luxury cabins sleeps MAX of 32, per fire code regulations 12 Bedrooms each with its own bathroom! (-10 kings -1 queen -1 twin bunks) 3 queen sofa pullout couches 14 total Bathrooms 3,000+ square feet each *see ‘things to do’ tab to find out what’s included in the cabins

Question

Kid friendly?

Answer

Yes! Fun for the whole family with TONS of stuff to keep the kids occupied. We are expecting 10 kids between the ages of 2-14, maybe a baby or 2?!

Question

How many people are coming?

Answer

Tentatively, we have 10 kids ages 2-14 confirmed. Adults will be between 20-30? We will update this exact number on here August 1st so you can plan on for sponsoring group meals.

Question

If invited, does that automatically guarantee me (us) a housing spot in one of the cabins?

Answer

No, but we will house the majority invited in the double cabins. Although we would LOVE to house everyone, it may not be possible to guarantee a private room. You may need to bring a blow up bed or be ok with sleeping the in queen sofas in the hallways/ living room. We have giving priority to family with little kids for the private rooms. We will probably be making changes up until the week before the event, so please be flexible. If we are out of room, we will try to take care of other arrangements that need to happen in order for you to come! We may end up renting a third cabin beside the other two. If we invited you, we really want you to be there! You are important to us and we love you all. Please contact us directly for further questions.

Question

Housing cost?

Answer

Don’t worry, we have already taken out a second mortgage to pay cabins x 5 nights. Haha. Please do not feel responsible to reimburse, it is not necessary. You have been a part of our marriage and we want to take this burden off of you to come and enjoy this special milestone!

Question

Food Cost?

Answer

We ask EVERYONE to chip in on all meals/ snacks. We have tentatively picked out families to sponsor every dinner for everyone that night. We will obviously take volunteers too! *Please find your assigned night in the ‘schedule’ tab. Let us know if the date needs to be adjusted for those that have pre-prepped food. *You may buy meals for others to cook (like my husband), catered or whatever works for you! Because of the cost of our anniversary hibachi dinner with a private chef at the cabin, we ask that everyone cover their share for each person. Prices are in the ‘RSVP’ tab on event #12. There may be leftovers from previous dinners, so keep that in mind. We don’t want to waste food, so let your kids go at it! (We actually tried to give away half of our wedding food to the town fire station, but ended up giving it to a random “street walker.” She was thankful. 🤣) Please bring your own or shareable booze. Please provide snacks to feed families between meals. Coffee and creamer (there is a coffee bar).

Answer

No problem! Please let us know ASAP if you can only attend a few days as this may effect your room/ bed assignment.

Question

Pet friendly?

Answer

Actually, yes! We will have a few friendly dogs stay with us. This is one of the reason we choose these cabins. They must remain off furniture.
