The easiest airport to fly into is Burlington International Airport (BTV), just 40 minutes from Stowe. For guests who prefer a larger airport with more flight options, Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is another good choice, about a 3.5–4 hour drive from Stowe.
We love kids, but we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.
Yes, we will be providing transportation for guests staying at Trapp Family Lodge. We will plan to pick up at main hotel and bring guests to ceremony (off-site) and will transport guests back to the venue for wedding reception.
Our ceremony will be held indoors at the church, followed by a tented cocktail hour and reception. Please note that guests will be on grass for the cocktail hour, so stiletto or thin heels are not recommended. We suggest wearing wedges or block heels instead.
Our wedding will be black-tie optional. We would love to see our guests dressed to celebrate, tuxedos or dark suits and ties for men, and evening gowns or formal cocktail dresses for women.
