We met working at a non-profit organization, Olive Crest, where we both worked in group homes for at-risk foster youth. Sean worked in the teen boy's home and Lindsay worked in the sibling home, often collaborating with Sean's parents who worked in the young children's home next door. We were finally introduced at a corporate meeting by Sean's father....and it was literally love at first sight;)

After Sean stalked Lindsay on every social media site possible, he finally got the courage to ask her on a date. (Sean will claim that Lindsay stalked him, but we all know the truth). Our first date was on the floor of Sean's living room with a good bottle of wine and lots of pillows! There was lost of sarcasm, jokes, and laughs- and at that time they thought "Ok, this could be something". After three hours of conversation, Lindsay said to Sean, "Are you going to kiss me already or what?"... You could say it must have been a good first kiss!

It was a day like any other...it was Sunday morning and Sean went to play in his baseball game while Lindsay showed her support, but what Lindsay didn't know is that Sean had something up his sleeve. For those of you who don't know, Lindsay is almost impossible to surprise due to her super human FBI skills, but this was one case that even Lindsay couldn't crack. Sean had setup a "girls day," behind the scenes with some of Lindsay's closest friends in order to get Lindsay out of the house. Once Lindsay was in San Clemente enjoying some drinks and her time with her ladies, Sean and his crew started to get to work. On the same steps that Lindsay and Sean said "I love you" was the same place that these two would decide to spend the rest of their lives together. Imagine this; their favorite song playing in the background, the steps covered with beautiful yellow sunflowers, and the sun shining brightly on Lindsay and Sean as they stood hand in hand looking into each others eyes. At this moment Lindsay and Sean knew that this was the beginning of a wonderful journey. Sean was shaking and could barely hold back his tears as he walked Lindsay through a path of flowers that would lead them to their final destination. As Sean lead Lindsay to that famous step Lindsay could hardly control her emotions, so Sean got down on one knee and held up a diamond ring to confess his love once again. Lindsay didn't have any hesitation as she answered, "are you kidding me, yes!" These two couldn't have imagined a more perfect day surrounded by so much love and happiness.
