Question

Why three days? Why the Ranch?

Answer

We are blessed beyond measure to be loved by so many people near and far. We could not think of a better way to celebrate the beginning of the rest of ours lives, than to surround ourselves with our friends and family for a long wedding weekend. Moon River Ranch is a very special place that will provide the most perfect environment- conducive of laughing, making memories, and **most importantly** spending this time loving each other.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

You should bring your swimsuit, attire for outdoor activities, sun screen, and any entertainment equipment you would like! If you think it would be fun, we say bring it! There will plenty of room for football, cornhole, ect. We are encouraging guests to bring a cooler and any alcoholic beverages, if desired, to keep in your room to consume in the time leading up to Saturday. We hope you’ll participate in our rehearsal dinner, aka Foley Fiesta. Dressing in sombreros, serape, and all things embroidered will be applauded. The wedding may be on a ranch, but we would prefer if you would consider cocktail attire instead of overalls for the ceremony. However, we want you to be comfortable!

Question

What do I need to know about on-site lodging at Moon River Ranch?

Answer

When choosing a venue for our wedding, our biggest requirement was enough space to sleep as many people as we possibly could on-site. Our second biggest requirement was finding an environment that would best allow our loved ones to make memories, relax, laugh, and love each other. Our dream wedding includes taking full advantage of this once in a life time opportunity- a chance to have everyone we love most in life together, in one place, at one time. Moon River Ranch is very special to us, because it will allow this dream to come true. The Ranch can lodge approximately 60 guests. Reservations will be made on a first come first serve basis and those staying all three nights will be made a priority. We ask that you read the following lodging information carefully. Please remember, we want nothing more than to make everyone happy, while keeping everyone together.

Question

Are there pictures available?

Answer

To allow you to get an idea of the rooms at The Ranch, we have included a few pictures under the “Photos” tab.

Question

Do we get to pick our room?

Answer

Moon River Ranch has many unique lodging arrangements and accommodations. We will be reviewing each reservation and placing you into a room accordingly. We understand special circumstances call for special requests, and we will do our best to meet your needs. By reserving a room at the ranch, agreement to be placed as we best see fit will be assumed.

By reserving a room, agreement to be placed in a room that we see best fit will be assumed. If payment is not received by the due date issued, your room will be offered to the next guest in line.

Question

How much will it cost to stay at Moon River Ranch?

Answer

We have plenty of rooms available at the ranch! The rooms with a full size bed or larger will cost 175 per night, and the rooms with bunk beds or twins, will run 100 per night. If you have some special requirements, please send us an email so that we can help accommodate you. There is continental breakfast and lunch available for about 14 per person. Please email foleymatrimony@gmail.com to reserve your room or for more information.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The available activities at Moon River Ranch are endless. October in Waco, TX is fantastic. The days are very warm and perfect for swimming and the humidity tends to dissipate in the evening. We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire, but please also bring clothes that will allow you to swim, canoe, fish, hike, and partake in an array of outdoor activities too!

Question

Can I bring a cooler or my own alcohol?

Answer

Absolutely!!! However, the owners of Moon River Ranch have asked that we utilize beer cans instead of beer bottles. Also, please fill your cooler with ice prior to arrival. Although there are many ice machines onsite, these will be strictly dedicated to wedding activities beginning on Friday evening.

Question

I have special dietary needs. What should i do?

Question

Where is the Ceremony? What time should we be there?

Answer

God willing, we plan on having the ceremony outdoors in the orchard. Plenty of seating will be available and the trees provide ample shade. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm on October 5th. We kindly ask guests to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to grab a glass of bubbly and start mingling.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held in the event barn, just a short walking distance from the ceremony.

Question

Can I take photos during the Ceremony?

Answer

We really want to see your faces, NOT your devices... Please put away your phones and cameras until after the ceremony. +PLUS, our photographers are AWESOME and like to share!

Question

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Ohhhh yes! Thursday night, we wish to welcome you all to our long wedding weekend with a Welcome BBQ. On Friday, Lunch and snacks will be available and rehearsal dinner will be served. We encourage you to bring any extra food or drinks you may want on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday before 5 pm. We also ask that you fill your coolers with ice prior to arrival.

Question

Do I get a +1?

Answer

We assumed everyone would bring someone they love. If we were unsure whether or not you would be attending solo, we included an unknown guest invitation with your name under the RSVP tab. If we missed something, please let us know!
