Just kidding; we didn't kiss til our second date. We met as most modern couples do - on a dating app. We met up for drinks at a bar in downtown Raleigh on March 3, 2016. We were both happily surprised by how tall the other was. Sean got there first. Lauren was nervous and mistakenly thought the water the bartender had left her was a drink Sean had ordered for her. We talked for 3.5 hours. Lauren left the date very excited, which she hadn't felt in a while. Sean texted her the following morning, asking if she'd like to hang out again. She responded affirmatively, and he sent a gif of Bastian riding Falkor from The NeverEnding Story (you know the one). She was immediately smitten. Fast forward several years, and here we are, with 3 cats and a dog, getting hitched.
