Sean and I have been friends for many years... I have always seen what a loving husband and hands on father her was. Imagine my surprise when I found out he was single again and so was I. I did not waste a minute in letting him know I wanted him in my life. I will spend the rest of my life showing him the love he deserves. He is a great man and I could not feel more loved in return. I cannot wait to share my life and his name with him. <3 <3
The city was Hurricane, Utah and the place was Sand Hollow Golf Resort. Sean invited me to Las Vegas to meet the Parijs and Bax family and pay respects to his recently passed father of 83 years. Sean asked me to join him on a golf trip to Utah to meet up with co-workers Augusta that happen to be playing golf in Utah that week. When we got to the 15th hole, he wanted to take pictures on the tee box which is beautifully nestled between two gorgeous rock formations and overlooks a breathtaking mountain course. He wanted me to take a few photos alone of the rock formations. (Turns out I was too close to the ring in his bag and he needed me to move so he could propose). I was taking lots of photos when I looked over and he was on one knee asking me to be "his golf partner for life..." WOW...it happen and I froze. I thought I was prepared in my head for that moment and it would be beautiful but no...I froze. I did say yes but I didn't make it as magical as I had played it in my head a thousand times. I was nervous, I had just met his friends and I didn't want to get all emotional. In hindsight I wished I had. However I did make it up by shooting a video of my true feelings at the same hole on round #2 a short time later and posting it on Facebook without mentioning it. He was shocked. He knows he is very loved. I make sure of that everyday! Thank you Sean Parijs for the best proposal ever. I feel very loved as well.
