We met at a Jimmy Fund fundraiser, Thank you Terry Brennan. My cousin started the first conversation, then there was the famous line, "come sit with us, you know you want too", and he did. He thought he impressed me by singing a song, "Sean South from Garryowen" and he was so right so I bought him a Guinness. We talked, laughed and danced until 3am in the Wee Pub. We continued as friends, getting to know one another and here we are, getting married in September 2024. We couldn't be happier.

Oh the proposal, Sean is a man who pays attention. To tell a little secret, he makes notes in his phone about things I like, smells, food, places I may want to go, things I may want to do or see. Together we had walked the marginal way in Ogunquit Maine early on in our relationship. Way before marriage was even a thought for either of us. While walking I said how romantic it would be. Fast forward to October 14th, 2023. Sean and I are in Maine for the weekend, walking the marginal way and he chooses a spot to sit down. As we are sitting another couple walks out onto the rocks. The man almost trips, never turns to his girlfriend to make sure she doesn't trip or fall. Sean says, he is a keeper. I say bet he gets down on one knee and he does. Sean was mad that the man stole out thunder so we started walking again. Sean found the perfect spot. He stopped a girl who was walking and asked her to take our picture. Sean dropped to one knee, began to fumble and couldn't get the box open. He asked and I said YES, It was PERFECT.
