Kerry + Sean were first introduced by mutual friends when Sean was venturing from Indiana University to visit his best man, Andy, at Butler University. Kerry had obviously looked at Sean's Facebook profile prior to their introduction and was both intrigued by the athletic football/rugby pictures and scared by the mohawk band pictures. The two attended Butler's headlining Welcome Week act - Smash Mouth and Chiddy Bang (so 2012, I know) with friends. Sean had Kerry's heart with his introductory line of "What's your major?" and the rest is history. JK - these two didn't begin their relationship for another 1.5 years in early 2014. Throughout college, the two traveled back and forth between IU and Butler, making many friends in both places. They loved sorority and fraternity formals, frequenting fine establishments the likes of Brother's and Kilroy's, and playing racquetball in the HPER. After graduation, Kerry and Sean both moved to their parents houses until they moved to Chicago in 2017. After living separately for a few years, Sean moved in to the iconic Apt. 5 in Wicker Park in 2019 with Kerry. Their lives were forever changed when Tater Tot joined the family in 2020 and became their utter obsession (IYKYK). On a beautiful October day, Sean planned a picnic for Kerry at one of their favorite lakefront spots, Promontory Point, got down on one knee and asked Kerry for forever. She said yes and was promptly surprised by their family and friends toting Big Star tacos and loads of champagne as the celebration continued late into the night. Kerry was so overwhelmed with emotions, she asked "Did I even say 'I do' ?", but luckily she has time to practice her lines for 2/24/2024.
