We started dating Halloween of 2009 and dated for 8 years. On May 29th, 2016 we got engaged at Blossom Heath Park in St. Clair Shores in front of our closest friends and family and had a two year engagement while the two of us finished school at Oakland University.

It was the last Sunday in May of 2016, hot, humid and muggy. Sean had asked me to go on a bike ride to Blossom Heath Park that morning before having lunch nearby with my sister Tori, as she was leaving to go away for the summer. Tori had convinced me to look nice (because she knew what was going to happen) and so I had worn a dress for the lunch. We rode bikes down to the restaurant, still unaware of what was about to happen, the day continued with a walk to the gazebo overlooking the ponds and fountains surrounded by flowers. Family and friends were hiding nearby in a parking lot looking from afar waiting for Sean to pop the question. He got down on one knee, opened the ring box and before we knew it family and friends were rushing to us. Of course, I said yes and we began our two-year engagement planning the best day of our lives to come. We will be so happy if you can join us on our special day; having a #Barryfuntime.
