Our love story began at a coffee shop in early 2023 thinking it was just another date to go on to humor a close friend of Kaylie's that connected us. Little did Sean know he would be walking into what felt like an interview on the first date. The rapid fire and direct questions Kaylie asked drew Sean in. Sean knew Kaylie would not want to waste time and wanted to get straight to the deep topics (family, kids, debt, list goes on). After a few weeks from the first date, it wasn't until Kaylie beat Sean in pool (several times in a row) that a connection started to occur between the two. It only took a few months of dating and getting to know one another for Sean to realize Kaylie is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with (must have been Kaylie's quick wit). Her strong, ambitious character underlie with so much love to give drew him in. It took Kaylie several months after to know she had fallen in love with such a genuine, kind, and patient soul. Sean and Kaylie had talked about getting married and a timeline of what that would look like pretty early on into dating. Something changed in Sean mid 2024, where he "wanted to move the timeline up" on proposing. Sean got the blessing from Kaylie's dad, bought a ring, got down on a knee at a winery and asked one of the most important questions a man could ask. Typically the rest would be history but our story is only beginning to unfold. Sean and Kaylie fully believe God has been so evident in orchestrating their relationship and commitment to one another. They are excited to see how God will use their marriage to further share God's love.
