Our story started in the spring of 2013. A classic Houston love story. It was rodeo season, our favorite time of the year. It was an eventful night full of dancing and laughing, and that is when I saw her. Time stood still and I was immediately drawn to her. Unbeknownst to me, I did not think she felt any attraction towards me. Us men tend to have those doubts when you feel a woman is too beautiful. Unfortunately, at the time she was already seeing someone else Bummer I know! I kept telling myself, everything happens for a reason. So what did I do? Well, I chose to look the other way and as the years went by we remained friends through mutual friends. Two years later, our connection was ignited and we dated briefly in 2015. It was not until October of 2020 when I reached out again and tried to catch up on lost time. Winter rolled around and we went to see the Wonder Women movie on our first date. It felt as if time was truly on our side. The beginning of our relationship was steady and natural. The rest is history, we were official by March of 2021 when we went on our first trip to Austin. Tons of dates, family trips and beautiful memories passed by. I always knew she was the one. Thankfully to our families, I was able to propose to the love of my life in a beautiful proposal with the view of the Houston skyline, where it all started. We were engaged in November of 2022 With the will of God, we will be married with a beautiful wedding in front of our friends, family and loved ones. I can’t wait To say “I do” to the love of my life. This love story was ten years in the making with forever more years to come! Soon to tie the knot! 4-5-24
We officially met in November 2012, on my birthday. This is “technically” how we met, but till this day, I never let him forget that we danced together once before that moment at the Houston Rodeo. I remember it so vividly because our mutual friend had called him over to dance with me. Well little did he know, the first night that I had met and danced with him, I had a slight crush on him. Unfortunately, time was not in our favor. Then in 2015, he actually became the first and only person to deliver flowers to me. We rekindled and explored a relationship together. Dancing, oh how much we loved to dance with each other! Dancing was our love language. As the years went by we both went our separate ways. I don't know what it was that made him reach out again but I'm so grateful that he did. At the time, I was enduring hardships, yet he continued to pursue me and didn’t give up on us. It was a glimpse of what a life long partner should be! I hope he continues to be patient as he was from the very beginning. In such a short time, he has met most of my large family. From the west coast to different parts of Mexico, he has met the people I love the most. He has been lovingly welcomed by my family with alot of love, and of course relentless roasting and bullying that comes with being born or married into this family! I can't wait to see what our future holds and I’m so happy to be able to share our beginning as Mr. and Mrs. with our family and friends. We hope to see you all there ready to celebrate with us!
