Things To Do
Camelback Mountain Hike
Our favorite hike and the closest to Old Town Scottsdale! Go to the Cholla side for the easier hike and Echo side for the harder hike. It is a hard/moderate hike either way you go so make sure you are capable before you go. And bring lots of water!
Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt
15 miles of parks, ponds, and fun, we've spent A LOT of time biking and running up and down the Greenway! If you are staying in Old Town, the best place to jump on is at Hayden & Indian School Rd or Hayden & Camelback Rd.
Papago Park
One of the biggest tourist attractions in Phoenix and known for it's postcard Hole in the Rock photos!
Tempe Town Lake
A fun, lively, and beautiful area where you can paddle boat, bike, walk, and lay on the grass and watch crew boats go by.
Desert Botanical Garden
A very serene, beautiful, and calming walk through the Sonoran Desert's most beautiful plant species. There's a beautiful restaurant and bar, Gertrude's inside the Garden which we highly recommend. The Garden is right next to Papago Park and the Phoenix Zoo if you want to make a day out of it!
Old Town Scottsdale
Right in the heart of Scottsdale lies the historic Old Town. A section of Scottsdale that throws you back in time with Old Western buildings full of shopping, bars, restaurants, and historical sites. One of our favorite bars is the Old Town Tavern, which has live music every night!
Scottsdale Waterfront
Enjoy a picturesque walk along Scottsdale's Waterfront. Located between Fashion Square and Old Town Scottsdale Road.
Fashion Square
One of the top 30th largest malls in the US, approximately 2 million square feet of retail and restaurants. Located in downtown Scottsdale and a perfect place to go if you forgot anything!
Taliesin West
One of the most famous architects in American history, Frank Lloyd Wright, built this studio and home in North Scottsdale in 1937. Take a trip in time to an eclectic house that is a piece of artwork and tranquility.
Buffalo Chip Saloon and Steakhouse
