Bridesmaid
I met Allison during our churche’s WDP program 8 years ago. We were the rambunctious group (Hayley was our leader) and we have been rambunctious ever since. She has been a great friend over the years giving lots of laughs, good advice, and sassy comments under her breath.
Groomsman
My brother in law, and fellow architect in the family. I've known Darrell ever since he started dating Ellen when I was in junior high! To call Darrell a positive influence in my life would be an understatement - from helping me on my way to becoming an architect, to helping me keep myself grounded in faith, to introducing me to Kate! It's been a joy to have an older brother, even if he didn't show up until later in life.
Bridesmaid
Morgan was one of the first friends I made after moving to Austin. It started with going on neighborhood walks, to staying for dinner, then turning that dinner into a club, and becoming Auntie Kate. Morgan has let me come along side her and her family for years of fun and adventure.
Groomsman
My cousin, and close partner in crime from when we were younger (you cant terrorize your older sisters by yourself). Reed and I share countless memories from family vacations, to hiking and camping, to just bumming around playing video games. Though we don't get the chance to see each other as frequently as adults, we never have a hard time picking up right where we left off.
Bridesmaid
Hayley and I also met during WDP, as mentioned above, Hayley was the ring leader to our rambunctious WDP group. She has been the initiator and leader of lots of fun events. She has been a great friend to have over the years always listening, caring, and sharing her queso.
Groomsman
I've known Matt since I started high school in Austin. He would tell you that our first encounter was him sitting next to me in Biology, where I looked at him and then decided to go sit somewhere else (which, though it’s completely false, is a funny story nonetheless). We became quick friends playing golf in school, and as Matt has been the person I've lived with the most in my life (barring my family), have remained close through college and well into adulthood.
Bridesmaid
Laura is my sister and my first roommate. She and I are pretty opposite, she's kind and sweet where I am sassy and salty. Be we definitely make a great duet when singing Wicked in the car.
Groomsman
David and I also met in high school on the golf team. We became friends pretty much right away when we realized we would both be playing in the varsity slots in tournaments (I actually got to play for the first time filling in for David when he was sick). Beyond golf, David and I have shared several interests from paintball to actual shooting. We also lived together for several years in college, and remain close friends to this day.
