Please aim to arrive between 5:45 and 6:15!
This will be a cocktail-style reception, followed by an after-party! We are having a private ceremony with our families two weeks prior, but we wanted a chance to get everyone together to celebrate. 🙂 Expect all the traditional reception events, a first dance, speeches from friends & family, and cake-cutting, along with a few other surprises. We want it to feel like a fun night out in our beloved neighborhood! We will have heavy hors d'oeuvres and food stations available throughout the reception, plus cake. We'll also have vareniki and pelmeni dumplings at the after-party. Both events will have an open bar. Please RSVP for both events so we can inform our vendors!
Our dress code is "New York chic!" which is to say, cocktail. Anything you'd wear to an elegant night out in NYC is great. Get a fit off! The groom is not wearing a tie. Both venues *will* have seating (reception will have both indoor and outdoor seating), but it is somewhat limited, so we'd recommend opting for the comfier pair of shoes between the two you're eyeing!
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate plus ones, but we promise everyone we know is very friendly and you'll make friends.
As much as we love our friends' little ones, we will be having an adults-only evening!
We'll have a mix of veg, seafood, and meat options. Let us know if you have a particular food allergy and we will do our best to accommodate!
