Crater Lake National Park
Crater Lake National Park is the deepest lake in the United States and it is a site to see! It is only about an hour and half away from Medford, Oregon. The drive is beautiful with landmarks along the way to stop and explore.
Ashland
Ashland is the town where Sean grew up. It is cute town that delights tourists with a fabulous variety of restaurants, the Shakespeare Festival and boutique shops. I recommend touring downtown and strolling through Lithia Park. Long before Sean and I met, we both played in creek that travels through the park. Currently, Sean and I enjoy taking long walks through the park and sitting by the duck ponds.
Jacksonville
Jacksonville is a charming, victorian town that offers a variety of restaurants and shops to explore. It is also on the way to the Applegate Valley which offers many beautiful wineries to explore while you are here. Bella Union, Jacksonville Inn and C St. Bistro are a few of our favorite restaurants in Jacksonville.
Roxy Ann Peak
Roxy Ann is located in Medford, Oregon. Roxy Ann Peak is a moderate hike that provides a breath taking view at the top. One of our first dates was this hike. Sean and I enjoy this hike as the view at the top make it worth while!
Applegate Valley
Enjoy touring the Applegate Valley as there are many wonderful wineries to explore. Red Lily Vineyards, Schmidt Family Vineyard, Longsword Vineyard, Wooldridge Creek and Troon Vineyards are some of our favorites.
Upper Table Rock Trail
Upper Table Rock Trail is a moderate hike that provides a gorgeous view of the Rogue Valley. It is located by White City, Oregon which is about 20 minutes from Medford.
Lower Table Rock Trailhead
Lower Table Rock Trail is a moderate hike that provides fabulous views of the Rogue Valley.
