Hang Out at the Beach

Our New York friends and family will be surprised (and hopefully delighted) that it's typical for temperatures to be in the 60s in Virginia Beach during November. Put on a hoodie and read your favorite book on the beach. (All three hotels on our Travel page offer beach access and equipment.)

Rooftop Views at Orion's Roof

Enjoy drinks, lunch, or dinner at this stunning rooftop restaurant with unbelievable ocean views. Located on the roof of the Mariott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort on our travel page.

Boardwalk Christmas Lights

The boardwalk gets all decked out with lights for the holiday season. Stay cozy and drive through the display (enter at 2nd St & Boardwalk) for $10-20 or walk through for free.

Try an Orange Crush

An "orange crush" (alcoholic) is the signature drink around these parts. Head to Waterman's (the original creator) to enjoy one with ocean views. Or, even closer to our venue, try one at Tulu's (located inside the Mariott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort outside of our venue).

Play Pickleball at Bayville Park

The back tennis courts at Bayville Park have 3 courts with pickleball lines. They are free and first-come, first-serve. Must bring own equipment. Warning: You will probably run into Holly's Mom :)
