It was the summer of '16 and the MetLife training program was meeting in-person for the first time in New York City. From the moment Hennesey laid eyes on Sean's mysterious and caterpillar-like eyebrows, she knew he was the one. Once Sean saw Hennesey in her collection of pant suits, it was game over. Both Sean and Hennesey took training very seriously and acted in a professional manner towards one another the entire conference...they bid adieu at the end of the trip- Hennesey headed to Boston, while Sean flew down to Dallas. Two months went by and they got the chance to meet again in Kansas City at their next training conference. Two days in, while everyone piled into the elevator, Sean was explaining how his training buddy's snoring was so bad that he almost texted Hennesey to sleep on her couch. There were a lot of "oh yeaaaahs" and "oh lalaaaas" that came from the elevator as Hennesey immediately blushed. This was the turning point... For months after Kansas City, Sean and Hennesey started texting more about work. Conversations about work turned into personal chats. Hennesey watched a full World Series (the Red Sox weren't even playing!) just so she had an excuse to talk to Sean. Daily texting turned into daily calls and soon Sean and Hennesey made their (long-distanced) relationship official. For 3 years, Sean and Hennesey travelled to one another almost every weekend between Dallas and Houston. They went from 4 hour plane rides, to 4 hour car rides, and finally landed in the same city at the start of 2020- Hennesey made the big move to H-town with their 3rd best friend and daughter, Penny. Days in Houston now mainly consist of drinks at the local watering hole, playing fetch with Penny until her hearts content, and Hennesey asking Sean what he would like for dinner, only for Sean to respond with "something good."
