FAQ

The Wedding Website of Hali Adamson and Sean Kelly
Question

What are the event health protocols?

Answer

As the safety of all guests is our top priority, we are asking that you provide your COVID-19 vaccination status with your RSVP. If you will not be fully vaccinated by September 5, 2021, you will be required to test negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours and wear a mask when not seated at your table.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire: Think tuxes, suits, or even sportcoats for the gents; and floor-length dresses, fancy cocktail dresses, or pantsuits for the ladies!

Question

How can I get to the venue if I do not wish to drive?

Answer

If you'd like to travel like a true New Yorker, the venue is a short 5-minute walk from the Prospect Park station on the B and Q subway lines. Use the brick-paved entrance at Willink Drive to enter the park. From there, staff will direct you to the Boathouse. For those who prefer not to take the subway, a taxi, Lyft, or Uber are all convenient options. It is easiest to be dropped off at the Lincoln Road & Ocean Avenue entrance to Prospect Park. From there you will see signs & Wayfinders to help navigate the short walk to the Boathouse.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There will also be parking on-site for those who are driving themselves. It is best to enter Prospect Park off of Flatbush Avenue onto WIllink Drive. The Wayfinders will be able to direct you to the parking lot from there.

Question

What if I do not live in the area?

Answer

Multiple hotels near the venue have been blocked for the wedding weekend. Please see the "Travel" page for more details and information on how to book! Airbnb is another great option to explore. We recommend searching for available accommodations in the Williamsburg, Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, Park Slope, and Carroll Gardens areas.

Question

What is a Cookie Table?

Answer

The cookie table is a staple at every Pittsburgh wedding. Thought to have started during the Great Depression, it is customary for family and friends to bake cookies for the newlyweds and bring them to the wedding to be shared amongst guests at the reception. This is by no means mandatory, but if you'd like to bake cookies (or pick up some from your favorite bakery), please let us know when you RSVP. No matter what, you can expect lots of baked goods--and don't worry, we'll have to-go bags! If you do bring cookies, please plan to use a disposable container.

Question

Where are we registered?

Answer

We have registered through Zola--the website you're on right now! If you'd like more information, please check out the "Registry" page.
