It is with a heavy heart we had to postpone our special day to celebrate with everyone due to COVID-19. Our main priority is everyone's safety and the fact that we did not want anyone to be concerned about coming. It was an extremely hard and sad decision, but we are looking to the future, and we hope you can all still celebrate with us on our new date 10/09/2020. We will be sending a new wedding announcement, but will be capturing ALL RSVPS on here (see page titled "RSVP"). We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that we can laugh about it soon. LOVE YOU ALL XOXOXO.
I was working at Jay's Catering at the time and one of my coworkers (@ Josh Jorris) invited me to a Taco Tuesday at La Vida Cantina. When I showed up, I saw Josh and someone else sitting next to him. I introduced myself and grabbed the seat next to Sean. I was absolutely starving and they had already ordered food, so I asked if I could have some of Sean's bean dip for my chips, he laughed & just said "go ahead." He even fended off the servers from taking his plate as they kept thinking he was done. We talked a lot throughout the night, and more friends showed up. We all hung out the rest of the night and had great time, he even invited me to his birthday party. I showed up to his birthday only knowing a few people, but I had no idea what I was in store for with the endless mimosas, Newport Beach bar hopping, and the Hawaiian shirt tradition. I could not stay long because I was heading out to Bullhead City, but coincidentally, Sean was heading to Laughlin the following week for a Bachelor party. I met him one night when he was gambling, and he was having so much fun playing Craps. I just remember thinking how cute and sweet he was. I always look back on this night thinking this is when I wanted to get to know him more. We started hanging out a lot after that, and then about 4 months later (both of us are not very sure when or the exact date), he introduced me as his girlfriend, and I just remember thinking "Oh, okay, girlfriend then." I was secretly very excited though. Now 4+ years later, I cannot wait to be his wifey, grow together, and continue to fall deeper in love.
Yes it's true that my friend Josh introduced me to my future wife. I heard him talking about some new girls working at Jay's that were cute & one looking like “Olivia Wilde.” He showed me her instagram & I said "ya, she's okay". He invited her to a Taco Tuesday at La Vida. It was just me & Josh having a couple of margaritas & we ordered food because she was running late. I remember seeing her walking up to our table thinking, WOW! She sat next to me & after a couple of minuets of staring at my plate of food she asked if she can have my beans to dip her chips in. We hung out and talked all night and I got her number. We texted throughout the week and I invited her to my birthday party at Woody's Warf (which can get a little out of hand with the endless mimosas), She was the first one to arrive by herself & I thought to myself either she is into me or she really likes to be right on time (I found out later she likes to be on time). She sat across from me where we continued to flirt/talk throughout brunch. She couldn't stay long because she was driving to Bullhead to see her Dad and staying out there for a couple weeks. Coincidentally, the following week I was at my friends Bachelor Party in Laughlin which is close to Bullhead. She came over to the casino to hang out one night. I was up & down gambling through out the night until she showed up. I was playing craps & she was standing next to me & I couldn't lose. I told her she was my lucky charm & she couldn't leave, & she's been my lucky charm ever since! We started hanging out together a lot after that going on dates, & getting to know one another. I first felt like I was falling in love with her is when she invited me to go to Church. She continues to always keep God first in our relationship. Her love for Disneyland & the annual river trips in summer we always go on. Her passion & drive to support me to be the best person I can be. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life growing together & exploring the world.
