What are the best practices to follow when attending a ceremony at the Gurdwara?

Answer

At the Gurdwara, it is customary to remove your shoes before entering, maintain a respectful and quiet demeanor, and cover your head (Head covering will be provided at the Gurdwara). Please refrain from using electronic devices during the ceremony, as it is an unplugged event. In the prayer hall, men should sit on the left and women on the right. We also ask that all guests who are able sit on the ground during the prayer. If you need any seating accommodations, please let us know in advance.

Be sure to silence your electronics before entering. Head covering is not required. During the ceremony, it is customary to remain seated during certain moments of the service, unless invited to stand. If you have any specific needs or questions, please feel free to ask one of our ushers for assistance.
