Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs

Lovely out-and-back double- and single-track trail for hiking or mountain biking that can be accessed from 3rd/Oak St right downtown. 5 miles up to Buffalo Pass one way.

Spring Creek Trail (In Town Hike/Mountain Bike)

4-mile round trip out-and-back up to the quarry on gravel road for 360 views of town and sunsets. Access to all Emerald Mountain trails for extended adventures.

Blackmere to the Quarry (In Town Hike/Mountain Bike)

6-mile hike round trip from Stillwater Reservoir in the Flattops Range, about an hour south of Steamboat. Note there is a 1,000-foot drop on both sides of the "causeway" (may not be suitable for children).

Devil's Causeway Hike

8-mile out and back to Mica Basin, 12-mile loop to do the Zirkel circle from the Slovenia Trailhead. Stop at the Old Clark Store on the way for provisions.
