There are limited options for guests in the Roxbury area. As such, we recommend booking an accommodation as soon as possible. Many of the accommodations do require two night stays, which we understand may be an inconvenience for some. There’s a lot to do in the area (shopping, hiking, breweries, etc.) and hopefully you can make a fun weekend of it! A 2 night stay might also eliminate any super early morning wake ups to begin the travel to the venue from your home. For most of our Long Island friends and family, the trip is about 3 hours. We do have a list of nearby Airbnb’s that we can provide, keeping in mind that most Airbnb’s require a 2 night minimum to book. Feel free to contact us directly for the Airbnb’s so we can make sure you’re close by! The Hanah Mountain Resort and Country Club as well as the Roxbury Motel are nearby options that we can recommend. Again, these will have a 2 night minimum stay.
There is a hotel that allows for 1 night bookings, however it is just over an hour away from the venue on your way up. This may be preferable to some and is completely understandable. That hotel is the Super 8 by Wyndham Kingston, and full contact information is listed on the “Lodging Options” page. Due to logistical constraints, we will be unable to provide shuttle transportation from this location to our venue. Additionally, we have reserved The Gateway at Pine Hill for our guests. The space is limited here and if you are interested in staying, please reach out to us directly so we can discuss further details. All we ask is that if you will need a ride to the venue, please let us know in advance where you have booked your stay so we can coordinate shuttle stops and ensure we are able to provide transportation. We recognize these options aren’t the most traditional or ideal scenarios, but we hope that you can join us to celebrate!
Stone Tavern Farm, 2080 upper meeker hollow rd, Roxbury, NY 12474.
The venue is a large farm property. Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. Our reception will be held inside. Golf carts will be provided for any guests who may need them to get around the property.
Although we love your little ones, this is an adults only affair. We hope you understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!
