We met in high school and dated for 2.5 years. We went to different colleges and long distance put an end to our story. Little did we know it was more of a pause, than an end. Fast forward 5 years, it is 2018. Out of the blue, Sean had reached out to Celina by sending a snap about jean jackets and how everyone has them, even the whataburger lady that was serving him. Celina let him know she has two and the conversation continued. Celina let him know that she was planning on visiting family in a couple of weeks and asked if he wanted to meet up. We spent a whole evening together catching up. We saw each other 3 more times on that week long trip, and by the 4th time, we knew there was something special still there that we wanted to continue to explore. Celina packed her bags and moved to Fort Worth. Everything fell right into place and we got to resume our love story.
We were on a trip in Santa Barbara, CA. Celina had planned most of the trip, but Sean was in charge of planning Saturday's events. Sean had told Celina he planned a nice brunch, so we had to somewhat dress up. As we were walking, Sean wanted to take a detour onto the beach. Naturally, Celina says, "You want me to go on the beach with my booties?" but agreed to do so anyway lol. Once we were on the beach, Sean surprised Celina, got down on one knee and asked Celina to marry him. That was the easiest yes ever.
