The Martin Johnson House is an entirely outdoor venue! The ceremony will take place on the lawn in front of the venue, and the reception will take place on the decks outside of the cottage.
The attire for our wedding is cocktail attire. Please keep in mind that La Jolla in the Spring can be pretty chilly in the evening so a jacket is recommended. We will provide heaters. Additionally, our ceremony will take place on the grass and there are pretty spots to explore with dirt paths around the venue, so sensible shoes are recommended.
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive by 3:30-3:45 to ensure that you are on time.
We have hired an amazing farm-to-table company to cater our wedding. We will have food and dessert options for all dietary restrictions, including gluten free and vegetarian. Food will be served buffet style.
