We rented this VRBO for the us and our immediate family. There are many VRBO and AirBNB options on the island. The island is only 9 square Miles so getting to one side or the other isn't too tough. Most recommend renting a jeep to facilitate travel on the unimproved roads

Ferry Information - Ferry travels from St Thomas to St John

You will fly into St Thomas then take a ferry to St John. St. Thomas to St. John Ferry Schedule. There are two ferry routes. The shortest route is between Red Hook on St. Thomas and Cruz Bay on St. John. That trip costs only $6.00 each way, takes approximately 20 minutes and runs hourly between 6:00 am and Midnight.
