We met on the dating app Hinge. We went to Smoke Daddy for our first date. Sean claims since I picked a BBQ place that he knew I was a good one. I would say it was one of my longest first dates. The conversation was flowing very easily and we were chatting for hours. We continued to meet at local spots by us in the city for each date, but essentially, we can say the rest is history!

Sean's birthday was coming up and I had planned to treat him to a nice dinner downtown. Sean mentioned going for a walk along the Riverwalk since the weather was getting worse and this might be our last chance until Spring. I easily agreed since that was one of our favorite things to do when we lived a few minutes from the Riverwalk. The weather was VERY windy and quite cold already, so I wasn't sure how long we would make it down there. Very shortly after starting to walk on the Riverwalk, Sean said we should stop to "take in the view" so then I really knew he was going to ask. Then he got down on one knee and gave me his cute speech while a tour boat was floating by and they all cheered for us when I said yes! To my surprise there was a lady who had captured the whole proposal on her camera. I went to go ask her if she would exchange information with us so we could get the pictures when Sean says, "Oh yeah, this is the photographer!" So we then tried to get as many pictures as possible by the river before we had to get to our dinner reservation.
