After moving back to Massachusetts after college, Anyce took at job while applying to veterinary school. This is where she met a thoughtful and charismatic coworker named Sean. Over the years of working together and living in different countries, they remained very close friends. After three years apart they both realized that there was more to this friendship than they had ever expected. The distance was hard, but they made it work. At the end of her time on the island of St. Kitts, Anyce was accepted to Louisiana State University for her clinical year of school. The two decided to take the plunge and move to Baton Rouge together. So in April of 2017, Anyce, Sean and their two dogs made the journey to Louisiana, to start their life together.

After three years of moving around the country, Sean and Anyce finally decided to settle down on the coast of North Carolina. Anyce had found the perfect job, and they had an (ever growing) family of animals- including three dogs and one very special horse. Sean decided that the time was right to propose, and he knew that he had to include Anyce's horse in the proposal. So when the day finally came, with a little help from some friends (and one very unamused horse) Sean and Mr. Pickles were at the barn waiting. After 7 years as best friends and 3 years of dating, Sean asked the question and Anyce said yes.
