We're Getting Married!

It all began back in 2015 — Angelique was 18, Sean was 20, and fate decided to have a little fun through… Tinder. Angelique thought she was so cool for giving the app a try, but quickly realized it might not be her thing (haha). After chatting for a bit, the two decided to be cordial and move on with their lives. At the time, Angelique had just transferred from the University of Arizona to ASU and promised herself she’d stay focused — no boys, no distractions. But as life would have it, one day Sean texted her and asked, “Want to go to the movies?” It was winter break, and she thought, why not? Little did she know that one simple “yes” would change everything. What started as a casual movie date quickly grew into something so much more. By February, the two were completely head over heels in love. Since then, their story has been filled with endless laughter, late-night talks, adventures up north, scooter rides, and tender moments that remind them just how lucky they are to have found one another. Sean (somewhat willingly) watches Love Island with Angelique, they dance in their room like no one’s watching, and they dream about their future during quiet night walks. Over the years, their love has only deepened — the kind of love that feels like home. Together, they’ve grown through every chapter, learning, laughing, and loving harder with each passing year. From spontaneous adventures to cozy nights in, from teasing each other to being each other’s biggest supporters, every moment has built the beautiful life they share today. What began as a simple swipe turned into something truly extraordinary — a love story written by fate, strengthened by time, and rooted in friendship, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Now, surrounded by the people who mean the most, Angelique and Sean are ready to begin their greatest adventure yet — forever. 🤍

In September of 2024, Angelique thought she and Sean were headed to California to celebrate his birthday. Little did she know, Sean had something much bigger planned — something that would change their lives forever. They spent the day at one of Angelique’s favorite childhood places: the beach in San Diego. From the moment they arrived, it felt like stepping back in time — full of nostalgia, laughter, and love. They rode all her favorite rides at Belmont Park, played arcade games, took on the ropes course, and laughed until their cheeks hurt. Of course, they had to stop at their favorite ice cream spot, Sweet Shoppe, for a sweet treat before the evening came to a close. As the sun began to set, they took a long walk along the beach — the sky painted in shades of pink and gold. They walked for miles, hand in hand, talking about life, love, and everything in between. Sean kept telling Angelique how grateful he was for her and how deeply he loved her, but she had no idea what was coming next. Eventually, they stopped and stood arm in arm, gazing out at the vast ocean. The sound of the waves surrounded them, and Sean shared how important this day was to him — September 7th, the same date as Angelique’s parents’ wedding anniversary. He wanted to honor the love that made her who she was. He told her that their love was the kind he hoped to build for a lifetime. Then, in that perfect moment — with the ocean before them and the sun dipping below the horizon — Sean got down on one knee and asked, “Will you marry me?” Angelique was so surprised she dropped to the sand with the biggest smile, completely overwhelmed with joy. Through happy tears and laughter, she said yes. It was the easiest and most beautiful “yes” of her life — the start of their forever. 🤍
