Our fates were sealed by a series of last-minute decisions! One crisp September weekend, Sean decided last-minute to tag-along with his parents on a quick trip up to Russell Island to visit their friends the Holka's. Similarly, Angela randomly decided to head up to the island for a "girls night in" with her Mom. After a traumatic event involving a dead-mouse in the cottage, Angela decided to head up to the Russell Island Yacht Clubt for a quick drink. She was pleasantly suprised to find a cute, fun boy up there and quickly made conversation with him. After lots of tequila (thanks Kim Holka), a pep-talk from his Mom that Angela was indeed "into him", and a cough-drop infused first kiss on the St. Clair River, phone numbers were exchanged and a proper first date was set for later that week. The rest was history!
