It all started with a DM. They met (in person) at a Scottsdale Bar called Bevvy to break the ice over mimosas before heading to a Spring Training Game with a group of friends. The day was perfect and the game ended, but then he asked if she would join them at Maestro's for dinner. Knowing her ripped jeans and crop top wouldn't be a good fit in this setting, she decided to pass on the fancy steak dinner. After parting ways, they continued texting before deciding to meet up at a friend's pool later that night. They laughed and talked for hours until they realized the sun was starting to rise. From that day forward the conversations continued and the relationship quickly developed. Well, here we are over four years later to share what has come from that DM. We can't wait to share this special day with you all and celebrate what's to come! Love, Andrea & Sean
Churros said it all, or Andrea would have said no! -Sean Here's what really happened... About a month prior to the proposal, Andrea found the ring in their home. To everyone's surprise she did NOT open the box and wanted to see the ring for the first time when the proposal actually happened. She put the box back in the bag and impatiently waited for the day to come. Since they were going to Lake Tahoe for her birthday at the end of July, she figured this would be the perfect place for a proposal. Three days before leaving for Lake Tahoe they went to a birthday dinner with both of their families. Before leaving for dinner, Sean put the bag that Andrea had found the ring box in on the table (not knowing Andrea had found). She KNEW this was it... he was going to do it at dinner. But then to her surprise, he decided to leave the bag on the table and they left for dinner. She was confused. Was he going to do it when they got back home instead? What she didn't know was Sean had secretly snuck the ring box out of the bag and into the car. When they arrived to dinner, his mom grabbed the ring from the car and put it in her purse. Andrea was oblivious. After dinner, the restaurant brought out a "birthday dessert". When they set it down on the table, Sean was down on one knee. They turned the dessert to face Andrea and it said "Will you marry me?". It was perfect. And yes, it was churros.
