We've emailed everyone the link to RSVP already, but you can also click the RSVP tab at the top of the screen here, too! We're asking everyone to kindly respond by September 9th. We'll text you if you forget.
If you wish to give us gifts, we will be very grateful! We have set up a Newlywed Fund for this purpose (we prefer cash to anything else). We will also have a box at the reception for any handwritten notes or cards you want to give us.
Semi-formal. The ceremony will be outdoors and on grass if the weather is nice, so consider that when choosing your footwear. There's a lot of shade where the ceremony will be, so it might be chilly too. Please do not wear a Halloween costume, but if you're the type of person who doesn't like to listen, here are some acceptable costume options: John Wick, Marilyn Monroe (but in a color other than white), Dracula. Basically any character that is known for wearing a suit or a dress. Yes, it's OK to wear black! No, it's NOT ok to wear white.
In order to keep our headcount where we want it, only significant others (or +1s) noted on your invitation may attend. If you think we've made a mistake, please reach out!
Unfortunately, they aren't. Our niece will be the only child in attendance. Thanks for your understanding!
No, not at the ceremony itself. The photographer we've hired (The Photography Carousel Ride) will take care of that, and they asked us to make sure no one will have their phone or ipad out in any of the photos they take. So please don't take any photos during the ceremony. Before and after the ceremony, though, go for it!
No outside alcohol is permitted, but we will have a nice variety at the open bar (as well as plenty of non-alcoholic beverages!).
There are lots of hotels close by! A few suggestions: The Inn at Swarthmore Radnor Hotel The Hilton Garden Inn (Newtown Square) Philadelphia Marriott West (Conshohocken) Or, there are plenty to choose from in Center City Philadelphia, which is only 25 minutes away.
We have a block of rooms under contract at the Fairfield Inn Broomhall and can add to it. There are several other hotels nearby, too. The venue is far enough away from Philadelphia that finding a good room should not be an issue.
No, because they can't behave.
We suggest you get vaccinated if you aren't already (as long as your doctor recommends it). All guests must be vaccinated or provide proof of a negative test result the day before the wedding. We will be texting those people to confirm that they have proof of a negative test, because we're asking everyone about their vax status in the RSVPs.
The venue has ample parking. We will also provide transportation to and from the venue.
Totally! We will be staying at the hotel in Broomall for Thursday and Friday evenings to be near the wedding venue, but will be making our way back home to Philly on Saturday morning. We will be home all weekend, and would love it if you came to spend time with us in the city. We'll make some relaxed Saturday and Sunday plans for those who stick around. Reach out to us if you want to know where we live, so you can move your stay to the city near us!
We are working on this. Stay tuned.
