Be Our Guest

Sean and I had chatted online briefly on a dating/community site and agreed that we would like to meet up when I came home from my summer vacation to Michigan. A couple of weeks after I returned we both headed out to a conference in Las Vegas at the Plaza hotel. We had no clue that the other person would be there. Our first meeting was at a fiesta theme event on the roof top deck. There is a nice pool and it was probably close to midnight and a mutual friend introduced us. He realized he was smitten with the girl in the cute red bikini and a flower crown in her hair and I thought man he is pretty cute, I really should get to know him better.

We will start a little before our first date with our first hang out. Sean ended up coming to my birthday party with a friend and we got to know eachother a bit better. So, when I decided to go an event in San Diego for Dia De Los Muertos and Halloween our friend told me that he was going too and that i should ask him to dinner. We went for pizza at a sports bar which was probably not the best idea because I love sports. It was a final or an important game of some kind and I was totally into the game which made him think maybe she is not interested but in all reality, that could have not been farther from the truth. I invited him to come out for drinks later with my friends and the rest is history! We have been together every since that day. He is so loving and supportive and in the midst of the pandemic even packed up his whole life to move to Michigan with me so that I could be closer to my family. Moving has been a big adjustment but, we are happier than ever and so excited to start our adventure as husband and wife. I never thought I could love someone so much and I thank God for “finally” answering my prayers. Sometimes you have to wait for perfection. I am so happy I finally have my prince!
