We first met while teaching in Philadelphia - Amelia in her first year of special education and Sean a seasoned teacher still new to the city—and from the start, our connection felt effortless and familiar. Within months, we realized we shared not only values and dreams, but a vision for the life and family we wanted to build together. Since then, we’ve created a home where we can be our full selves, celebrate joy, navigate challenges, and support each other as we raise our sweet Jackson. Our move to Michigan marks an exciting new chapter as we continue growing our family and story, but it makes it even more meaningful to return to our beloved Philadelphia—to celebrate with those who mean the most to us. We’re so grateful for the journey that brought us here and excited for everything ahead: watching Jackson flourish, traveling/seeing the world, growing our family if life allows, and building a lifetime of joy, adventure, and love together.
