Our Sikh wedding ceremony. This ceremony takes place in a Gurdwara, so we ask for modest, formal attire — shoulders, midriff, and knees covered, with light, soft colors. We'd love to see everyone dressed in Indian attire if you're up for it — it's such a beautiful part of the celebration! Western formal wear is totally welcome too, if that's more your comfort zone. COLORS: Light Colors - Bride Side: Ice Blue - Groom Side: Sage Green STYLE: Traditional Indian or Western, Modest - Ladies: Salwar Kameez, anarkali or formal outfit; dupatta or shawl - Men: Kurta pajama, sherwani or suit AVOID: Low-cut or short hemlines You'll be seated on the floor for part of the ceremony, so easy, breathable fabrics help! Head coverings: We'll have rumaals on hand for the men, ladies, please bring a dupatta or scarf to cover your head and shoulders.
