When we planned this date for our wedding, we were confident that the COVID-19 pandemic would be, in large measure, behind us. Unfortunately, that is not the case. But despite the prevalence of COVID-19 at the moment, we plan to proceed full speed ahead and celebrate! If you become uncomfortable and decide to change your plans, we support you! Please let us know as soon as practicable. Please know that all three events we have planned are fully outdoor--the opening welcome reception, the wedding ceremony and reception, and the closing pool party. Both of our venues have communicated to us that they require guests to be vaccinated as well.
For the Welcome Reception on Friday night, plan to dress like you're going to a cocktail party in Palm Springs--because you are! For the wedding, the dress code is semi-formal with your own unique Palm Springs dessert twist. On Sunday for the pool party, wear whatever you'd like depending if you want to swim or just chill.
The Welcome Reception at Spencer's Restaurant is a quick 10-minute walk from the Ingleside Inn. However, we wouldn't want to take that walk in heels! So, if you're planning a heel you might want to consider taking an Uber or Lyft. But also note--the Spencer's reception is on a lawn and this might also impact your choice of footwear.
Text us and we'll make sure there are meal options that meet your needs.
Yes - see our "Weekend Events" tab for more details.
For those not staying at the Ingleside Inn, valet parking will be available at the wedding. But we want this to be a safe weekend, so we're asking all guests to not drink and drive. And drinks are on the house!
Please RSVP by October 2nd so we can get a headcount for the weekend events!
