Our wedding will take place in a combination of indoor and outdoor settings. Outdoor areas will be shaded while indoor spaces will be comfortably air conditioned. In early May, you can expect pleasant weather in Spain, with average temperatures ranging from 60 - 75 degrees Fahrenheit (16 - 24 degrees Celsius). Please note that some outdoor areas feature grass. We recommend considering your shoe choice accordingly, ladies!

There is a lot to explore in the stunning Costa Blanca region of Spain. Although public transportation is available, we would strongly recommend renting a car. When renting a car, please make sure to reserve in advance. Especially if you want an automatic transmission as these can book up quickly. In Spain, vehicles drive on the right side of the road. Taxis, buses and Ubers are also available. If you do not hold a European driver's license, an International Driver's permit is required to drive in Spain. To get an International Driving Permit (IDP) for Spain from the U.S., apply through the American Automobile Association (AAA), the sole authorized U.S. organization for issuing IDPs. You can apply online, in person at a local AAA branch, or by mail. You will need to provide a completed application, a U.S. driver's license, two passport-style photos, and pay a $20 fee. Copy and paste the link to the AAA website into your browser to apply: https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html
