FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by April 1, 2026.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your online RSVP will clearly list who has been invited.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Of course! If you've ever been to a family gathering with Seana, you know she always gravitates towards and values spending time with children. When you RSVP for your party, you will see the names of the invited children listed. Please respond accordingly, as we understand if you'd like to attend with or without your children.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal Attire - We would love to see our family & friends get dressed up for the big day with us! Our theme is "Garden Party" and we enthusiastically support our guests dressing in florals, light colors, and spring/summery outfits!

Question

Are there any colors the guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams.

Question

Is there a breakfast the morning after the wedding?

Answer

Yes, in following the Ackerman family tradition, we'll be having bagels and coffee at a local community clubhouse the morning after the wedding. Located at the Seasons Glen Clubhouse 1 Community Lane, Mount Arlington, NJ 07856, we hope to see members of all families there!

Question

Is the wedding ceremony during a Mass?

Answer

No. While Justin and Seana will be married in a Roman Catholic church, they have elected not to celebrate a nuptial Mass, opting instead for a ceremony (without the distribution of the Holy Eucharist) out of respect for the diverse religious backgrounds of those in their families.

Question

What is a Pittsburgh Cookie Table?

Answer

An amazing Pittsburgh tradition! To honor Justin and Seana's home-away-from-home, and our guests hailing from the Burgh, we'll be having a cookie table outside of the church following the ceremony. This is exactly what it sounds like: a table full of different types of cookies! It is tradition for guests to bake cookies as a contribution, and later, make a bag to take home! Please contact Michelle Miner (minermjm@gmail.com) if you'd like to contribute :)
