Yes, we are requesting all guests to please adhere to a formal dress code. Examples of what is appropriate include suits for men and midi/long dresses or jumpsuits for women. Please refrain from wearing white, ivory, or any similar shade.
Because the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm, we ask that you kindly arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
Yes, there is a shuttle bus provided for guests staying at the Sonesta Select Hotel. It will be leaving for the ceremony promptly at 4:45 pm. Guests will be returned to the hotel at 11 pm, directly following the reception.
Linden Place does not have a designated parking lot and only has metered street parking available so we would recommend you Uber to and from the venue if not utilizing the Sonesta Select shuttle bus. Although Ubers should be readily available, please allow extra time should you choose to Uber to the ceremony.
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outside. The ceremony chairs will be on the grass so please plan outfits and footwear accordingly. The reception will be taking place inside.
The Morris's are hosting a welcome reception for any guests who will be in the area on Friday night. The event will be from 5-8 pm at the Boat House Waterfront restaurant in Tiverton, RI. Please feel free to join us for however long fits with your schedule! Appetizers and beverages will be provided. We hope to see you there! Smart casual attire is requested (summer dresses, button downs/polos with slacks, linen outfits, etc.). Since the restaurant is on the water and the event will be taking place on the patio, we suggest you bring a light jacket in case it is chilly at night.
