Depending on who you ask, the story goes one of two ways. The first version is that we met at a historic war reenactment—MaryJo was the compassionate nurse tending to the injured soldier, and Sean was, of course, that soldier who just couldn’t stop smiling despite the “battle wounds.” The real story is a little more modern: we met on Hinge. Our first date was at Schileens Pub on November 16, 2023, and from the moment we sat down, the conversation never stopped. We clicked instantly and have been inseparable ever since. By New Year’s Eve 2023, we made it official and started dating. The months that followed were full of adventures, laughter, and plenty of double dates with Kellianne and Jack. We cheered on monster trucks at Monster Jam in May 2024, survived flight delays and late-night Uber rides on our first cross-country trip to Tucson in April 2025, and most exciting of all, we bought our first house together on November 1, 2024. From painting to furnishing, we’ve turned it into a true home filled with love (and probably a little too much paint on our clothes). Looking back, it feels like everything fell into place exactly as it should. From a simple swipe on Hinge to building a life together, our story has been nothing short of amazing—and the best chapters are still ahead.
