From our first encounter, to our upcoming wedding, our relationship has been anything but traditional. The first time we met, we were wearing lab coats and glasses, and working in a chemistry lab. Our first vacation together was quintessentially Pendleton- packed with excitement, chaos, and a few injuries. Before our second anniversary, we had planned a wedding, a funeral, and moved in together. Though our journey from boy meets girl to saying "I DO!" has been unconventional, through it all we have fallen in love, become best friends, and built a life together. Just as our love story has been untraditional- so to will our wedding. After everything we've been through, and the loved ones we have lost, a traditional white wedding just wouldn't feel right. Therefore, we have opted for a destination wedding in Las Vegas. We are planning on a semi-traditional ceremony- while there will be no formal wedding party, we will have a full ceremony, in front of friends and family, and before God. In lieu of a reception, we will be having a dinner for all of our guests at Tom Colichio's Craft Steakhouse at MGM Grand. Las Vegas felt like a natural choice for us. Not only is it a place where we shared our favorite vacation together, but it is also a fun and bustling city with a diverse offering of activities for all our guests to enjoy. It is our hope to have an awesome week in Las Vegas, with all our friends and family who would like to spend this special time with us prior to our Wedding Day. While this is the wedding format that feels right for us, we know it is very untraditional, and not conducive to everyone's schedule or preferences. We want to share our love and happiness with all those who are special to us, but we understand not everyone will be able to be there in person. As an alternative, there will be a livestream of our wedding for anyone who wishes to attend remotely. Stay tuned to our website for updates as we plan Wedding Week activities, and more!
