Cocktail Attire! We're expecting some warm weather, but not to worry, the venue is air-conditioned. Bringing an extra pair of flats for dancing is always a good idea!
YES! There will be a 56-person shuttle from the Omni Frisco Hotel in Frisco, TX to our wedding venue in Aubrey, TX. Please check out our "Schedule" page for more information. We ask that you please RSVP if you do intend to use the shuttle.
We'd recommend staying in Frisco, TX but you'll also find home rentals and hotels that are closer to the venue in Aubrey, TX or Denton, TX. The reason we'd recommend staying in Frisco is that it's full of great hotels, delicious restaurants, fun things to do, and most importantly, it's our neighborhood! The morning after the wedding, we'll plan to head to a local brunch spot somewhere in the Frisco area. If you'd like to coordinate your brunch plans with ours, we'd love to give you one last hug before you head home!
Frisco, TX is about 25 minutes from Dallas-Forth Worth (DFW) airport and about 30 minutes from Dallas-Love Field (DAL) airport, using toll roads. There's always a way to avoid toll roads, but it will take a little longer to get where you're going. Depending on where you stay, flying in and out of either airport should be relatively comparable. If you choose to stay closer to the venue itself (Aubrey, TX or Denton, TX), we'd probably recommend flying into the DFW airport.
While Ubers/Lyfts are easy to come by around Frisco & Denton, depending on your weekend plans, we do recommend renting a car or arranging to share one with other guests. Our venue will have plenty of parking available, and there will be a shuttle from Frisco to Aubrey (limited capacity), but regardless, having a car is definitely useful for getting around in Texas.
