Can I bring my kids?

Answer

As much as we'd love to celebrate with your kids, we are only able to accommodate the children in our immediate families at our ceremony and reception. We appreciate your understanding!

How do I get to the reception?

Answer

The Crane Estate does have parking, but we will have buses leaving at 5pm sharp from the Wylie Inn in Beverly, the Peabody Marriott, and downtown Salem. The road to the Estate is very dark and windy and we recommend taking the shuttles. Uber/Lyfts are not available from the venue.

What is the dress code?

What do we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a roughly 2 hour break between our ceremony in Peabody and the start of our reception in Ipswich. You are welcome to explore the Salem area (there are plenty of bars and restaurants — check out the Things To Do tab for some ideas), check in to your hotel, freshen up, take a nap, or do whatever your heart desires. The buses to the reception will leave promptly at 5pm from the Salem/Beverly/Peabody area.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors at a church. If the weather cooperates, cocktail hour will be outdoors, the dinner will be under a tent, and dancing will be indoors.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we'd love to accommodate everybody, we unfortunately have a limited capacity. Your invitation and RSVP page on our website will include a guest if you have a plus one.

Can I take the bus to the reception even if I'm not staying at one of your hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes! Please just let us know if you're planning to do so. Ubers and Lyfts should be readily available in the Salem/Peabody/Beverly area.
