Whether you're visiting for the weekend or extending your stay, we hope you'll have the opportunity to explore some of Maryland's most iconic sights and experiences.
A trip to Maryland isn't complete without seafood! Some local favorite waterfront restaurants include Fisherman's Crab Deck, The Jetty, The Narrows Restaurant, Bridges Restaurant, and Libbey’s Coastal Kitchen & Cocktails.
Just back over the bridge, about 20 mins off of Kent Island, visit the capital of Maryland. Annapolis is one of the most picturesque waterfront towns and well worth the visit. Stroll Main Street, walk by the Maryland State House, browse charming boutiques, local art galleries, coffee shops, and sweet treats as you make your way down to the harbor.
Enjoy watching sailboats, yachts, and water taxis cruise through one of Annapolis' most famous waterways. Grab a coffee from Rise Up Coffee, crepes from Sofi’s Crepes, or a street dog from Pip’s Dock while you’re there!
Enjoy fresh seafood, a classic Maryland Orange Crush, or dessert with a waterfront view in historic downtown Annapolis. Favorite restaurants include: The Choptank, Dock Street, Boatyard Bard & Grill, and Carrol’s Creek Cafe.
Explore the beautiful campus, visit the historic chapel and museum, and experience one of the country's most iconic military institutions. It is recommended to research tour information in advance.
If visiting downtown Annapolis before the ceremony, make sure to leave time for traffic coming back over the bridge as Saturday’s can get busy.
