We met at Bates in 2016 in a Physics 101 class thanks to our friend Emily Gibson. Seamus pretended that he needed help with his homework, so Katie put her high school physics knowledge to the test. We quickly bonded over dogs, dad jokes, and our mutual love of Dairy Joy. We may have met in Physics but one could say we had Chemistry

After Bates, Seamus headed to his PhD Program at UVA, and Katie entered the Start-Up world in New York. It wasn't long until Katie was able to start remote work and move down to Charlottesville with Seamus where we quickly found our home away from home. As a cherry on top of a perfect scenario, we added our fur-baby Tully to the picture.

On trip back up to our old Maine stomping grounds, Seamus planned a jam packed day of activities. Starting at one of our favorite spots, Wallingford's Apple Orchard, where Seamus popped the question! The day followed with re-tracing the steps of our first date at Heidi's and ended with a surprise engagement party with friends and Family in Portland!
