Sean and Ellie met at Colorado Mesa University, where both were studying in the Elementary Education Department. Sean noticed Ellie looking lost in the bookstore after class, and was a gentleman in helping her to find her textbooks. They soon started spending time together in their spare time, and quickly realized how well their goofy and passionate personalities complimented each other. The rest is history.
After a whirlwind of fun times with family and friends over the Christmas holiday, Sean and Ellie returned home to Grand Junction to celebrate New Years Eve as a couple. After dinner, Sean surprised Ellie with an intimate candlelit setting at home. He got down on one knee, professed his love, and asked Ellie to be his wife. She said yes (obviously), and they started off their new year of adventures as a newly engaged couple.
After having nearly everything lined up, plans changed when news of COVID-19 hit the world. Sean and Ellie made the difficult decision to postpone their wedding not once, but twice, until gathering became less risky. Through that time, they continued their adventures through activities such as building forts at home, movie nights, camping, disc golfing, and, as things opened up, they continued to share new experiences together and grow their love!
As life returns to a new state of normal, we have decided it is FINALLY time to move on to the next chapter, with those who support us most. Not wanting to wait too much longer, we began researching places and ways to say, "I do!" We are so excited to announce that we will be getting married in Las Vegas, NV on November 25th, 2022!! We would be honored to have you join us to celebrate, whether in person, virtually, or in spirit! We have limited our guest count to more immediate family and close friends, but will be live-streaming our ceremony to those who would like to join us virtually! We love you all, and look forward to celebrating with you!! Ellie and Sean #LoveBurstingattheSeams
