We were introduced to each other by Samantha's sister Becca. She had "the perfect guy" for Sam: a farmer, fireman, and he had cows! She had already talked to Chris about Sam the previous weekend! Sam's cousins vouched for his character and so we agreed to exchange numbers. After two weeks of talking on the phone, Chris asked Sam to go wine tasting at Leonard Oakes with him and his two (AMAZING) friends; which then lead to heading to Becker Farms for more tasting! From that day, we haven't been a part from each other for more than a couple days!

It was the morning of Chris's 30th birthday. After Sam had given Chris his presents at home, Chris looked at Sam and asked, "Are there any more presents for me?" Sam was confused and said, "umm, no..." He then got down on one knee and told her he loved her and asked if she would be his present for the rest of their lives. Sam immediately said, "Sure!". Chris had asked Sam's dad the day before and had brought a very close friend with him ring shopping a couple weeks prior! It was the perfect proposal!
