Choosing a maid of honor was not easy since I have many sisters and close friends, but I know Maddy will make this day everything I have always wanted.

The oldest Steilen sister, and arguably the nicest. She has been my role model since I was little, the days when she was stuck babysitting all of us. She has always pushed me to work hard but also stop and take time for myself. Also, her relationship with my brother-in-law has been one to look up to. I couldn't imagine marrying my best friend without her by my side!

Cam is a copy and paste of me (except she tans). She is 4 years younger but the person the most like me in the world. I can always count on her for Starbucks runs, shopping trips and wanting to play with my pets. She is the most talented artist I know and I'm so lucky to have a sister who can help with wedding decorations!

Jaylynn and I became quick friends after we met in college. She was in the same English class as me and reached out after she noticed I was in a sorority. She rushed my sorority and ended up being my little! We were the bestest of friends after that, hanging out every single weekend having the best time. She was the one who pushed me to be with Brandon when I was hesitant and I could not be more grateful for that! I was in her wedding and I am thrilled to have her in mine. She will be a lifelong friend!

I met Rachel when we were both bridesmaids for Jaylynn's wedding. We bonded over throwing parties for Jay and making sure her day was perfect. After that, she became one of my closest friends. She will always drive to KC to visit me and I will drive to Saint Joe to see her; even if we are doing nothing. She is not only one of my best friends, but also a friend of Brandon's. She's always there for the biggest moments of my life. It was a no brainer to ask her to be by my side for the biggest day of my life!

Kayla has been one of closest friends since I moved to Missouri. She recognized I was new and took me under her wing. We quickly became close our freshmen year of high school. Soon enough, I felt like I was part of her family. I went on family trips with them, pretty much lived at their house on the weekends, etc. After high school, we went to different colleges but stayed in touch. Funny enough, we ended up in the same Masters program for grad school. I was the MOH in her wedding and I knew she would be a part of mine as well.

Tabi and I met through our significant others. Anytime the boys friend group would get together, she was always the one I would go talk to. She is the funniest person ever and the most fun, always! I haven't known her long but I knew she had to be a part of my big day.

Shelby has been one of my closest friends since high school. We became close in yearbook class. Our lives took two different paths after high school but we have always remained in touch. She is one of those friends that I know I can go to anytime and would be there for me. She is a busy mother of 2 (soon to be 3!) but still makes time to make sure my wedding day is going to be what I want it to be. Of course I wanted her to stand by me while I marry the man of my dreams!

Addy & Cami used to go to the daycare that I worked at. I was both their teachers at one point. I then offered to babysit for their mom if they needed. We have stayed in touch ever since! Brandon would help me babysit so the girls began to love him just as much. There was no question on who we wanted to ask to be our flower girls.
