Tiara and Ryan’s story began in 2016 when Ryan started dental school at Nova Southeastern University. Tiara was an undergrad there, and her best friend, Anastasia, happened to be in Ryan’s dental school class. Their paths first crossed at a dental school party, where they caught each other’s eye. Over the next two years, they remained friendly, often running into each other by chance. In the fall of 2018, Ryan finally asked Tiara to go diving with him. Fresh out of a bad relationship and unsure of his intentions, Tiara invited her best friend, Sarah, to tag along. Caught off guard, Ryan assumed he had just been "friend-zoned." Still, the three had a great day together, but Ryan never followed up with another date—much to Tiara’s disappointment. Over the next few years, they continued to see each other while out in Fort Lauderdale, both navigating their own ups and downs in relationships. Fast forward to August 2022—Tiara was the maid of honor in Anastasia’s wedding in upstate New York. During the rehearsal, another bridesmaid, Katie, asked if she was single. When Tiara said yes, Katie was surprised. "I can’t believe you and Ryan never dated!" she said. That one comment sparked something in Tiara, and she immediately asked if Ryan was single too. He was. And in October 2024, it was finally their turn for a moment straight out of a storybook. On October 19, the day before Tiara’s 30th birthday, Ryan planned a surprise celebration filled with one unforgettable moment after another. Friends from near and far gathered, but the biggest surprises were yet to come—her parents, who flew in from Pennsylvania, and her brother and his fiancée, who traveled from Seattle.
