How do I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you return your RSVP on or before March 28, 2026 so that we can confirm plans with our vendors. You can submit your response on the RSVP page here on our site. When you type in your name, those invited in your party will automatically appear. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us.

What is a "strolling" reception?

Answer

A "strolling" or "cocktail-style" reception is a type of wedding reception where guests are encouraged to mingle and move around freely rather than being seated at assigned tables to eat all at once. It features multiple food stations and a mix of seated tables and high-tops for eating, drinking, and socializing.

What is the parking situation at the venue?

Answer

Parking is available at Truist Bank, directly adjacent to the Whitlock Inn. Truist Bank: 47 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064 Overflow parking is directed to LiveSafe Resources. There is a gate in the back of the parking lot that leads directly into the venue. There will be signage and venue staff in place to assist in the direction of guests. What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The Whitlock Inn welcomes guests 30 minutes prior to the ceremony (doors open at 4:30 pm). Guests will be directed to the courtyard where the ceremony will take place. Access to the interior of the house will be limited to allow vendors to finalize set up and photos.

What about guests with mobility concerns?

Answer

The Whitlock Inn is ADA compliant. Access to the ceremony in the courtyard has paved paths and there is a ramp leading into the venue. There is an ADA compliant restroom in the ballroom.

What is the guest attire?

Answer

Garden formal. Feel free to wear mid-length dresses, bright colors, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and anything to stay comfortable in the Georgia heat. Our ceremony will take place outdoors. The reception will be strolling throughout the interior of the venue and the garden courtyard.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average high this time of year is 79, with a low of 61 degrees. There are rain plans in place in the event there is inclement weather.
